Truth of Sugar
Did you know, the average American (including children) consumes about twenty-three teaspoons of sugar in a single day (92 grams)?
However, according to The American Heart Association, women should only consume no more than six teaspoons of sugar (24 grams). For men, no more than nine teaspoons (36 grams).
If you do the math, per day, Americans are ingesting about 2-4 times MORE sugar than the daily recommended allowance.
Sadly, our culture individually goes through about 150-170 pounds of refined sugar, per year!
Seriously, no wonder why one in every three people in the U.S. Is pre-diabetic (unhealthy levels of sugar in the blood).
With all those mentioned, I want you to try something simple.
Cut out 20-50% of sugar from your diet and see what happens in the weeks to come.
If you do accept my challenge, your overall health will greatly improve in more ways than one…
Now, wouldn’t that be sweet?
